Courtside Sports - Tennis Shoes
Courtside Sports carries a large selection of name-brand tennis shoes such as
Adidas, Nike, Prince, Wilson, Fila, Babolat, New Balance, Reebok, and
K-Swiss in men’s, women’s and junior styles.
Tennis shoes for hard court play typically offer an extremely durable outsole, a
leather or synthetic leather upper for strength and are designed to provide good
lateral support and stability for tennis-specific movements. All manufacturers
offer great cushioning systems such as Nike’s “Air” systems, Wilson “DST”,
Adidas “Adiprene”, New Balance “Abzorb”, and K-Swiss “Si”
technologies.
Currently New Balance offers a variety of widths ranging from narrow (2A) to
wide (4E) for their men’s and women’s tennis shoes. Wilson is also offering
wider men’s shoes in addition to their standard size range.
For a more customized fit, we highly recommend the use of footbeds such as
Sole Custom Orthotics or Superfeet Replacement Insoles. For more
information, please refer to
Insoles.
When should you consider replacing your current tennis shoes? If you notice the
tread pattern on the outsole becoming less distinct with smooth spots emerging,
you risk slipping and possible injury on court and should consider a new pair of
shoes. Some players may not experience excessive tread wear but should bear in
mind that after a year of regular play, a shoe has lost enough of its’ lateral
support and cushioning to justify replacement.
We want you to be completely satisfied with your shoe purchase from
courtsidesports.com and we will exchange all on-line shoe purchases shipped to a
Canadian address (International orders are
final sale) if you are not happy with the fit. After purchasing your
new shoes, we recommend that you wear them at home on a clean surface for a
couple of hours to determine whether or not these are the shoes for you. Once
your shoes have been worn on court or played in, we will not be able to accept
them for return. Please refer to our return
Policies
for more information.
