 Airflow 7 The new Airflow racquet line is specifically designed for the female tennis player. Featuring an ergonomically shaped grip designed to specifically fit the anatomical structure of the female hand as well as the Flexpoint and new Metallix technologies. Metallix is a nano-scaled metal that is used to replace carbon fibres.This alloy's grain-size is 1000 times smaller than that of a typical metal, and by decreasing the grain size it increases performance. HEAD Metallix claims to have a stiffer, stronger and lighter construction resulting in a more powerful racquet. Flexpoint technology continues to offer control to the frame.
The most powerful of the racquets in the Airflow line, this frame offers a substantial sweet spot and together with a fairly open string pattern, players should enjoy good performance and maneuverability. This frame is best suited to the player with slower and more compact swing speed who are looking for power.
